Tunnel leads to four held, over ton of cocaine seized

The 1,933-foot-long passageway, which federal officials said was “among the most sophisticated” ever found along the San Diego border, was equipped with reinforced walls, a rail system, electricity and a ventilation system. It ran 55 feet underground, and the tunnel itself was 4.5 feet tall.

Worst of all, Mr. Trump issued pardons on the first day of his second term to everyone who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. He did not distinguish between rioters who were relatively peaceful and those who attacked police officers, as Vice President JD Vance said should be the case. All 1,500 or so Jan. 6 rioters received a clean slate.

The results have been disastrous. At least 12 of the pardoned rioters have since been charged with other serious crimes, including child molestation, assault, harassment, murder plots and charges related to a vicious dog attack. The outcome was predictable. Critics, including this board, had warned that Mr. Trump’s pardons would embolden the rioters by signaling that crime has no consequences. One does not have to be a criminologist to predict that people who commit a violent act and are absolved of any punishment might become repeat offenders.

I was trying to figure out why my latest @Strava activity was slightly slower than a previous one.

It says my latest effort was a 400' more climbing, which would account for the difference in speed, but it was the same route as before!

Boy Scouts sue LGBTQ travel group ‘Queer Scout’ over its name

The company, which uses an image of a pink fox for its logo, was accused of “diluting @BoyScouts’ famous trademarks and falsely associating with Boy Scouts,” according to the court filing.

The development came during a tumultuous month for relations between the Trump administration and Scouting America, which receives support from the military.
