Irelands €233bn of debt comes 2/3 from the deficit in revenue v spending after the crash and the other 1/3 €64bn bailed out the banks. Being paid on an interest only basis! The temporary USC brought in as an emergency tax is still in place today. Must be removed in #budget2025
