Professor of Computer Science @ UVA - I teach video game design, mobile app development, and software engineering. Hearthstone enthusiast. Tweets are my own.
So, some students told us "hey, you guys should start a podcast." So @ProfMcBurney did just that. The vibe is the "Yahoo Answers" bit from MBMBAM, but angled toward tech and gaming. Let us know what you think! https://t.co/kEIwQYi5o4
@WickedGood Right now, the "most salient lines of code" are gonna be the comments explaining what the code was *supposed* to be doing when properly maintained.
@AngelaOrebaugh We got the first 4 in one hour. Took another hour for the one that started at IX. Did figure out the final clue, but decided to get ice cream instead of going back to IX :-). We can compare notes back on Grounds.
I had no idea there was a "hidden message" in banknotes to tell Photoshop to not open the image... and I found this out through research for the podcast... not ANY OTHER REASON. ⚓ https://t.co/boiXeboV1u
I’m firmly convinced @RidiculousHat is a Twitter pre-cog. He can like a post before it’s even sent. I couldn’t write a bot that could like a post faster, I think.
@frryanwhitley BAH. I say again: BAH. Insert indignant head gesture and look here. The ONE TIME I thought there was a chance we would read the same thing at the same time…. Guess I’ll dust off my Elantris…
@frryanwhitley Oddly enough, Elantris is one I keep bouncing off of. I suggest Warbreaker next. It’s another one off. But this one has lots of priests. I also think you’ll find the magic system here quite interesting.
I really want to get into Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but every time I give it another go, I see that I have a professor ranking and have to come up with learning goals for my students and I turn it off because THAT’S MY DAY JOB DANG IT.
