@surge_sh I keep getting 'you do not have permission to publish to 'https://t.co/Jcq2WVLmUp' even though I very much own the domain - I've tried all the DNS fixes from help forums and no luck. Any advice?
The only time I’ve ever spent in the south is playing red dead redemption 2 - and yet that game is so immersive I keep going past places in South Carolina thinking “oh I’ve been here before, yeah I know where I am”
showing off the van interior to a bartender: “I don’t know what I expected but I certainly didn’t think it would look like it was ordered out of a catalog”

@Mkipps Yeah! Best part has been listening to music I wouldn't have otherwise been exposed to - especially the classic rock. As you know there was a lot of Jimmy Buffet in our house so I'm not as well versed in the timeless hits as I'd like to be.
Finding myself in a music rut as of late, considering something with the Rolling Stone top 500 albums — dedicate one day to each album and write a 280-character long review? Build a playlist with my favorite song from each album?
oh fuck this album is a four-CD collection with 80 tracks — looks like Merle just became the soundtrack for the last days of 2020. I'm for it! #frillytoothpicks
Top track: "Delirious" because it could double as Dr. Mario background music.
Next up, No. 284 on the list: Down Every Road by Merle Haggard

1999 by Prince — Frontloaded with superhits we've all heard again and again, 1999 is yet another album in this exercise I lack proper context for. This is quickly becoming a demonstration of how limited my music exposure was growing up. That's Wyoming for you.
Top track: "Here Comes My Girl" for its potential to be my personal falling in love montage song.
Next up: 1999 by Prince

Damn the Torpedoes by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers — A series of songs ideal for movie montages in a cheesy 80s coming of age film. 'Shadow of a Doubt' for a getting in trouble montage, 'Refugee' for a strip club montage, 'What Are You Doing in my Life?' for a cooking montage.

Exposure to new old music is why I started this challenge - pumped for my first listen through this one!

Ray of Light by Madonna — Struggled to get through this one, which I liken to a DJ Tiesto-laden pop album with trite lyrics. Top track is "Shanti/Ashtangi" more for how ridiculous it is than my actual enjoyment.
Project is going to be tricky this month given how much I truly adore Christmas music. Powering through. Doesn't help this Madonna album is...not great. #consolelodgelistens
Top track: "Help Me, Rhonda" for its catchiness and upbeat poignancy. Rhonda can't be into the role she's playing, but who knows how things panned out.

The Beach Boys Today by The Beach Boys — Fun, seemingly silly music that people apparently take seriously? All I think of when I listen to the beach boys is dancing around the house in my pajamas in the foyer of my childhood home in Powell, Wyoming.
Forgive my ignorance: why are the beach boys musically lauded? I thought they were goofy "surfer" music of my childhood but people who know music respect their work. Why?
