On top of the fact that it seems some of you can’t be bothered to fully read an article, here’s the issue. I’ll make it simple :)

Total homelessness under this governor has increased by nearly 24% over his time in office. If there’s a decrease in 2025, congratulations! It’s the first one.

There have been known issues with PIT data collection for unsheltered homelessness for years, which raises the question of whether the governor knew or whether his administration was perfectly happy taking federal funding from both the Biden administration and now Trump’s.

The promise in 2019 was to reduce homelessness over the course of his term, not increase it and then frame the final year as some kind of victory lap.
