@EllaCoo55777104 These new tariffs are to hide the fact that Trump cannot end his war on Iran and he cannot stop Israel’s war on Lebanon and Gaza… and the Midterms are afoot. Nothing to do with forced labour (which btw is rife in the USA… https://t.co/IJYNeqRGEC
The 12.5% tax on Aust and other countries re forced labour is not the issue. It’s all about covering up Trump’s inability to end the US / Israel war on Iran and Us/ Israel invasion of Lebanon. Trump is covering up that he is failure coming into the midterms.
@bewarewolf1 • Cost of Living: ~27th most expensive country in the world
• Top Income Tax Rate: ~17th out of 37 OECD countries
Inflation: Around the middle of developed nations, not among the highest
@Ryandally08 My thinking is that One Nation will take over the role and domain of the Nationals. One Nation will become the old Country Party holding to the values and structures of a prosperous past. One Nation won’t get far in the cities and bigger regions just like the Country Party.
@DavidJ41d@PaulineHansonOz Sorry not trying to verbal anybody… my statements come from the One Nation website. It takes
Some reading but most come out of ‘smash government waste’ or ‘cost of living’. https://t.co/PD3nSwD7bw
History of #politics reveals #PaulineHanson is one of the long term stayers. 30 years since she was first elected. Now for first time she is touted by media as future PM. This is nonsense. Her political power is based on her NOT being the government. She is just a skilled stirer.
@AuYobbo Excise on beer and spirits comes to $7billion to $8billion annually. Hard for any govt to give that up when Aussies keep drinking no matter the cost.
Four One Nation policy statements that don’t get mentioned
Reduce funding to the arts and multicultural programs
Review $3billion of medicines provided through the PBS
Means test the NDIS
Remove the excise in venues on beer and spirits
I just checked it out. There are 27 higher taxing countries than Australia (all of them rich countries). John Symon’s claim that Australia is the highest taxing country in the world is utter rubbish.
@AuYobbo Yep reducing excise on beer & spirits at venues would be a great boon to ON people. The excise is paid by the manufacturer who passes this onto the venue who in turn charge the customer. If the govt stops the tax, it’ll have get rid of the very profitable tax on take away grog.
@DavidJ41d Yes One Nation people like these four policies. Arts & multicultural programs are not supported nor the NDIS but I don’t understand why getting cheaper medications would be a worry to ON people.
