Missing Woman Found Dead as Boyfriend Reportedly Arrested

Molatelo Masoga, who was reported missing on Sunday, 30 August, has been found deceased.

According to sources, her boyfriend, Tshepo Theophilius Sepale, has reportedly been arrested in connection with the case and is said to be the last person seen with her.

The circumstances surrounding her death remain under investigation, with authorities expected to determine what happened through the legal process.

Breaking: Queen Nompumelelo Mchiza to headline Afri-Masterclass in Sandton

Her Royal Highness Queen Nompumelelo Mchiza is set to attend the Afri-Masterclass Women’s Month Edition as Guest of Honour and special guest speaker in Sandton this Saturday, 5 September 2026.

The event will bring together women leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, executives, founders and other changemakers for discussions centred on leadership, education, enterprise, mentorship and African heritage.

Queen Nompumelelo, a member of the Zulu Royal House and the fifth wife and widow of the late King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, is expected to bring her experiences in education, motherhood, community service and traditional leadership to the gathering.

Her participation comes as South Africa moves from Women’s Month into Heritage Month, placing renewed focus on the role of women in preserving culture while creating opportunities for future generations.

According to the organisers, Queen Nompumelelo’s public contribution extends beyond her position within the Royal House. She became an educator in 1997 and later taught Grade 5 and Grade 6 learners at Kamsweli Primary School in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal.

She eventually became principal of Queen Kamsweli Primary School. Her work has included supporting vulnerable learners and advocating for better educational resources in rural communities. She also became a guardian to two orphaned learners.

Queen Nompumelelo married King Goodwill Zwelithini on 25 July 1992. The couple had three children: Princess Nqobangothando Zulu, Prince Nhlangano Zulu and Princess Cebo Zulu.

Ahead of the event, Queen Nompumelelo said leadership was ultimately about service and stressed the importance of protecting and passing on African heritage while ensuring young people have the knowledge and confidence to shape their future.

Afri-Masterclass founder Zamani Ndimande said the Queen’s participation would add an important intergenerational perspective to conversations about women’s leadership, education, culture and community development.

The initiative has been running since 2018, providing a platform for African creatives, entrepreneurs, founders and culture builders to connect and exchange ideas.

For South Africans, the event comes at a significant point in the national calendar, as Women’s Month gives way to Heritage Month. The organisers say the gathering will explore how women can preserve cultural identity while contributing to education, entrepreneurship, economic transformation and community development.

The Afri-Masterclass is scheduled for Saturday, 5 September 2026, at Sanlam, 11 Alice Lane, Sandhurst, Sandton.
