I know I’m kind of late to be feeling this way, but I’ll say it anyway: movies really do seem to be fading. I just wonder—when people look back someday and talk about the decline of film, will they blame the pandemic more, or short videos?
Pinduoduo making iOS users swipe twice just to leave the app is such a shameless dark pattern. Calling it “accidental exit prevention” doesn’t make it user-friendly — it’s just friction by design.
Honestly, I owe a lot to the daily brief in @diabrowser. I used to think it was pointless — like, do we really need AI for this? But then it saved me from missing important work stuff a few times, and now I’m a total convert. Seriously, it’s a lifesaver.
Apple’s released products need to be reconsidered in light of LLMs. The Touch Bar can be seen as a great way to interact with AI. Vision Pro and iPad can become productivity tools when paired with a Mac Mini running Codex, and the MacBook Pro 16-inch may not be as necessary as before — a MacBook Air might be enough.
Has anyone even noticed that Dia Browser quietly killed off Skills? They used to push updates to it every single week last year — it was so constant that the community actually got annoyed by it.
