@Skokozani Further, how donyou become more competitive? Through competing with the best. There are numerous examples in rugby and cricket of "minnows" that weren't competitive, that now are because of their exposure at precious tourneys. (🇦🇫,🇧🇩, 🇮🇪 for cricket, 🇯🇵,🇺🇾,🇦🇷 for rugby).

@Skokozani I get where you're coming from, but disagree. All teams have to qualify for the Olympica. eing allowed to compete means that they've fulfilled the entry requirements. That's already a massive achievement. If those requirements need be made more stringent, then that's not on them

#BREAKINGNEWS: Liverpool City Council has been informed that the Secretary of State @MHCLG will not call in @Everton FC's plan to build a football stadium at #BramleyMooreDock in @PeelLivWaters.

The council will now grant #Everton permission to build, subject to legal agreement.

@outmyarsenal Don't have a horse in the race, but I don't think the decisions were anything as kak as what we see in the Prem these days 😅. But there I do have a bias, so take that with a pinch of salt.

@outmyarsenal The highlights don't really show it very well. The match coverage showed a defender clipping Griezmann causing him to trip himself. As for the offside, I don't think the camera angle on the highlights is quite right, but it was tight.
