Allan’s bravery to campaign so openely at a time LGBT rights were not accepted was admirable. His commitment to equality and the impact of his campaigns can still be felt today. Allan was President of CHE from 1974 until his death in 2012. (3/3)

Allan was as a member of the Homosexual Law Reform Society and helped to bring about the decriminalisation of male homosexual activity. After years of campaigning and public meetings, the law was changedand Allan and others set up the Campaign for Homosexual Equality (CHE) (2/3)

Our first icon we will be honouring is Allan Horsfall. Allan has been called the grandfather of the gay rights movement, for openly campaigning for lgbt history rights when homosexuality was illegal (1/3)

On Wednesday Oct 11, Marr Allies are running a Sign to Support event in the canteen at lunch time.
This event is for staff and pupils to sign our school’s pride flag and take a pledge against Homophobic, bi-phobic and transphobic bullying. Please come along to show your support!

One of our higher classes used balloons to understand the expanding universe and how this can be used to support the cosmological argument. Naturally this then turned into the class deciding they should be turned into famous philosophers from their notes😂🎈
