✅Physical games continue to sell millions worldwide (often 40% to 50%+ of total sales in UK, France, Australia and Japan for Resident Evil Requiem and others), proving they are far from niche.

✅Over 60% of countries lack a PlayStation Store, and the platform blocks region changes, locking international users out.

✅Digital libraries are vulnerable to sudden removals without compensation, permanent account bans, server outages, and region-locked codes.

✅Going all-digital kills the used games market, eliminates retail competition, and drives prices up.

✅Publishers manipulate data by bundling microtransactions and DLC into “digital sales” to fake a decline in physical demand.

✅With hardware projected to hit $1,000, multi-year gaps between exclusives, and PC offering better freedom, dropping discs gives players little reason to buy consoles.

Physical media must be preserved, because it means:
