I went to the "Mad City" model railroad show in Madison, WI this morning. I didn't find anything to buy but I did capture some video of the modular layouts. Good stuff.

A little railfanning on the way home from downtown Chicago. You will see passenger cars from Virginia Railway Express (VRE) and Metra of course, including a Metro car in the Blue and Orange livery. Freight locomotives from CP, NS, CN and UP.

Just some clips of me running trains in various scales prior to and in the early days of my first layout. All aboard the fun train!

Well I literally bought out the local @Menards on these panels. They are all painted and up. Significant progress has been made. #3rail#Oscale#modeltrains
I have been, gluing up furring strips, painting and putting up these panels. The corner panels are curved and I'm quite pleased that it worked. It is intentional that it is a sharper radius than the track. I wanted to minimize space loss but still have a decent curve.
Starting to paint and put up background panels. The corner ones will be curved. Or at least that is the plan. We will see how it turns out. #3rail#Oscale#modeltrains

Adding some 1x4 furring strips. I will attach 1/8โ hardboard to that so I can put up some sort of backdrop. No worries, Iโm leaving plenty of gap all around so I should have no vapor barrier issues.
