I'm proud of being part of this amazing Community #LawrencehillneighbourhoodForum in the map, well done @Shabanali_1 for the amazing chairing & keeping the order. Amazing questions I think it was balanced with housing, transport and Taxi (Uber) issues also young people Future 🤩
3 years ago, council chiefs agreed to launch an inquiry into how & why a Bristol mum with SEND kids was spied on by council officers. It didn't happen
Greens campaigned for it to happen. It still hasn't.
Green leaders are 'bent, weak, cowards' she said

They will not halt, they will not consult. They have a vision for independent travel in London and it excludes blind & elderly people. These policies & schemes are designed primarily by & for affluent non disabled men🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️💨and adversely impact the most vulnerable in society👩🏾🦽🧑🏾🦯🧑🏾🦼
In opposition, the Greens pledged to comply with Barton House requests for rehousing. Barry Parsons was one of those Greens.
In power, they have sidled away from carrying out the commitment.
👇🏾This severe congestion is by design. The council have closed a number of affluent side roads and relocated their traffic & pollution onto the less affluent community roads. Research confirms that this will increase the risk of cancer and heart disease for people on this road.👇🏾
It’s unacceptable for political figures to fuel harmful stereotypes about communities. When groups like @bristolgreen label our community as violent, it reinforces discrimination & emboldens those with existing prejudices & racists like Arron Banks.
This is what happens when cyclists desire for speed is prioritised above pedestrian safety. 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️💨💨
For years cyclists complained about being bullied by motorists and now cyclist lobby groups have the ear of politicians, what do they do, they bully pedestrians. 🚶♀️🧑🦽👩🦯🧑🦼
“Our community is being split on race and class lines by the actions of the city council for the third time in a row and each time that split occurs we have greater and greater problems trying to bring the community back together." #WeCopWatch
@AudreySuzanne @Shabanali_1 @BristolCouncil@ASPolice@bristolgreen Certainly backfired at today's WECA meeting - see around minute 26 when Dan Norris tells Yony Dyer to talk to Melissa Topping

When you have affluent 25-55yo non-disabled men in charge of cycling policy, you get superhighways & floating bus stops for affluent 25-55yo non-disabled men to speed across London.🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️🚴🏾♂️💨💨
Good people don't want to be associated with this toxic and unjust cycling culture.
They profit. We pay the price. But here in Bristol, we’re taking back control. Community-owned renewables put power where it belongs – with people, not polluters.
The future is local. Check out what we’re building in our city:

Thank you @willnorman for coming to the Sth Circular this morning to see first hand what the issues are and the impact it is having on the red route community.
