What does x402 actually mean for users?

x402 enables real, per-use payments when interacting with Agents in the Agent Console.

Instead of subscriptions, sign-ups, or credits locked in a platform, users pay only when an Agent actually runs a request.

What users need:
• A wallet
• USDC on peaq
• A one-time Session Key signature

That’s it.

Once set up:
• No wallet pop-ups per query
• No gas fees during interaction
• Pricing is shown before you send
• Payments settle automatically in the background

Each command triggers a small USDC payment routed directly to the Agent’s wallet, transparently and on-chain.

In short:
Type → Agent runs → Payment settles.

No subscriptions.
Just usage-based interaction.
