One of our regular cask ales: The Rev James from @brainsbrewery is on the bar @VernonArmsL2
Pale brown, it's malt & fruit aroma and flavours dominate the taste. An easy-drinking beer of deceptive strength.
ABV 4.5%, £4 pint. A taste of the good life!

We’re excited to be featured by @footprintmedia in a recent article, which recognises Charles Faram for leading the way in sustainability and innovation within British hops. 🌍
It’s a fantastic read, demonstrating the importance of British hops and our efforts with climate-resilient varieties and eco-friendly farming.

Last week was Edinburgh > Glasgow > Manchester > Dudley > Worcester > Malvern > Birmingham > Glasgow > Orkney.
Mostly seeing customers and suppliers plus learning about yeast and hops.
The highlight was finally making the @CharlesFaram Hop Walk.
Delighted to find @brainsbrewery have recovered from their financial problems & are brewing a big range of beers now sold far beyond Wales. The classics remain core brands. Reverend James the leading ale. Good to see my favourite Dark, & their huge commitment to Cask.
Laurie is off to “big school” on the next leg of his journey in becoming a Guide Dog. He came to us as 10 kg of energy and fun and moves on as 34kg of even more energy and fun. It has been a delight to have him in our family; he will make a fine and loyal companion.
