Advocacy Plan

@lyssaraile I agree.Stereotyping is something that needs to end with all people and races. Not everyone is like how the media shows #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@lyssaraile Kevin is a great man! I hope he reconnects other families back together with what he is doing.

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

It is crazy to see how social media can reconnect families back together by someone posting a video in hopes their family sees it. #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

Likes can help a little bit when it comes to spreading the word, but in the end it all comes down to time and money. #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

I think most people on Fbook think they're digital activists but in reality they are using slacktivism because all they do is like #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@lyssaraile Me too! If I'm going to like something on Facebook it has to mean something to me.

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

If organizations adopted social media technologies I can also see how this would help them reach and achieve their goals. #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@lyssaraile Same! I did not know the exact term was called "crowdsourcing" I just thought companies reached out when they needed it #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@jill_mcclure17 After I read about this I felt kind of lousy, I'm also just a happy bystander that needs to get involved more #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

I think I am just a happy bystander, I need to be more involved and potentially work my way up the ladder of engagement #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@jill_mcclure17 Exactly! Use their ideas to make something everyone will enjoy and in the end be a successful company!

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

If a company is looking for something new, I think crowdsourcing is a great way to see new ideas that could benefit the company #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

Using the Youtube Nonprofit Program gives organizations advantages others might not have access to that will help them succeed! #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@lyssaraile Definitely! After watching Save the Children it makes me appreciate my childhood so much more. #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@gmak53 The organization does a great job of showing someone's life through their own eyes. Makes you appreciate your own. #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

Save the Children uses social media in an effective way that lets you really see what is happening in someone else's life. #SW388AG

[Martena Albin @MartenaAlbin]

@gmak53 Me too! The sympathetic music always makes me feel even more sad about the situation. #SW388AG
