Or he would be seen as illegitimate because he lied so much that his words were not in any sort of reality. I can see how people would treat that as illegitimate. You probably could make even more arguments why his win might not be seen as legitimate and they are valid reasons.
Eh…I think the problem of this argument is that the original poll had phrasing that is ambiguous. I doubt all Democrats who answered that it wasn’t legitimate answered it specifically because they all believed Trump stole the election—even if some may have.
Knowing how people can interpret the question, I wouldn’t doubt some people believe it wasn’t legitimate just because he was impeached. Or maybe he wasn’t legitimate since he engaged in insurrection per the 14th amendment and it would not allow him to run if the ruling held.
And finally the attacks might not have done nearly as much damage to the facilities as previously thought. This was so badly mismanaged that had no benefit to doing so. And on top about this, Iran’s going to counter attack and the threat of terror attacks in our country will rise
No one will admit it because this is such a horrible take.
Reports showed Trump wanted to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities based on vibes. He constantly telegraphed the attack well in advance to the point Iran had ample to time to move their uranium stockpiles…
Not to mention that we miss the conversation where Rich tells Rudy he’s gay. This will obviously get better throughout the seasons and we did get retells, but of one of the negatives, we do miss the important convos that help solidify relationships of allies and enemies #Survivor
@MichaelCoffey1 No it doesn’t because they aren’t unnecessary and all you’re doing is stressing the staff that is there. You clearly have no idea how much this costs or how even this operates.
Almost everyone thinks you’re clueless because you speak nonsense. Maybe get a clue and stop posting.
@MichaelCoffey1@SmittyStrmChser@GuyTucker27@holliemaea@iCyclone You’re skirting my question. We’re going to have more severe weather events where more staff will have to work a lot more. But you’re paying them a lot more cause of overtime. This adds up and you’ll max out the small budget fast. Then what? You forcing them to work w/o pay?
@MichaelCoffey1@SmittyStrmChser@GuyTucker27@holliemaea@iCyclone Lmao what? These people are working hard and they deserve to be paid according to law. That’s trivial to you?
Michael, a government service is not the same as a private retail job. The cuts arent going to work especially when their role is vital. What you’re saying is dumb.
@SmittyStrmChser@MichaelCoffey1@GuyTucker27@holliemaea@iCyclone That doesn’t answer the question. You have a much smaller budget to work with and a smaller staff that are quickly going to use it up if you keep having more severe weather events that will take hours or days. How will the staff be paid when you use up the budget?
@MichaelCoffey1@GuyTucker27@holliemaea@iCyclone If you cut funding and personnel in that department to begin with and then you want them to work what could be multiple hours, if not days extra depending on the severe weather event...where's the money going to come to pay them?
It’s “well reported” and “beautifully written”? There are people that are mentioned in the book that have said these things never happened. Sorry, what?
This book by @jaketapper @AlexThomp is not only well reported but it’s a beautifully written narrative of what happened behind the scenes in 2024. Pre order here https://t.co/fq5xyStDQh
In case you wonder what we — and President Trump — are up against.
100% NEGATIVE coverage from so-call “mainstream” press in the first 100 days. PERFECT SCORE.
(Come on @RobertKennedyJr & @elonmusk , you guys can do better!)
What was there for the Dems to cover? Everyone knew Biden was old but he also was capable and did the job very well. This isn’t even close to a 1-1 comparison. Republicans are clearly covering for this Trump’s dumb tariffs.
You remember how the Dems covered for Biden’s age? Republicans are doing the same for Trump’s stupid fucking tariffs. Say what you know to be true for all of our sakes.
I understand wanting to not show politics when it comes to your job, but when one candidate was saying he would gut those agencies and not only it affects their jobs, but makes people unprepared for weather events, wouldn’t you want to speak up then?
While I’m glad he and many others in the weather community are doing that now, boy I really wish many of them used their voices a lot prior to the election. I argue politics were always in his turf and he hadn’t realized that.
As I have always said, I'm not political here. But if someone politicizes something that should never be politicalfor example, weather and weather warnings—I'm gonna speak up—because politics are now invading my turf. Get over it.
It’s why I have a problem with them coming out now because it wasn’t a problem just now. It should have been clear to the community during the hurricanes last year that there was rampant misinformation about NOAA, NWS and FEMA that was spread by the Republican candidate—Trump.
