The number of identified Palestinian detainees who have died in Israeli custody since the start of Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 91.

The latest victim is 21-year-old Saber al-Amitel, whose death was announced after he was found unconscious in his cell at Shikma Prison.

He was transferred to Barzilai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to Palestinian prisoners’ rights organizations.
