• One week before he called the election then Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was warned by senior civil servants that he was at risk of breaching his legal responsibilities if he failed to take action over the prison overcrowding crisis

This mess is the result of fourteen years of neglect, inaction & underfunding by successive Conservative governments - and he knows it!
