The Israeli Supreme Court, supposedly the last bastion of Israeli "democracy", just signed Dr Husam Abu Safiya's death warrant.

The court rejected his appeal and ordered for the continuation of his unlawful detention, knowing full well that he is being held in abhorrent conditions, without cause or indictment and being subjected to torture on a regular basis.

Hard for me to exaggerate the intensity of the wails and the gnashing of teeth from Israeli "ideologues", from the hard right to the center left, who cannot believe "Trump's betrayal". It is impossible for Israelis to think of their actions as having consequences.

Signing this deal may be the most sensible thing Trump has ever done. Israel is an unwelcome albatross around his neck. He has never been in thrall to Israel and zionism. You've heard it here countless times. Israel is corrupt and hollow. It is weak. Israel cannot go it alone (I wish I could translate the anguished cries of a few settler ideologues about the response we must be preparing, a response to shake up the world), Israel's gaslighting should and can be stopped. It is not inevitable. Israel must be brought to justice but Israel can and should be ridiculed mercilessly. Israel is the globe' s current hub of evil. Evil can also be pathetic.

Israel is running a network of torture camps for Palestinians. Our reports, Welcome to Hell and Living Hell, extensively documented a reality of extreme violence, starvation, and torture.

Palestinian prisoners are subjected to severe violence, deliberate humiliation, starvation, sleep deprivation, denial of medical care, and abuse in every facility where they are held. 

These abusive practices are fully backed by the political leadership, which openly boasts about the harsh prison conditions. Some inmates are subjected to severe sexual assaults. 

At least 89 Palestinians have died in Israeli detention facilities since October 2023 as a result of inhumane conditions, violence, starvation, and the denial of medical treatment. 

Despite the extensive evidence, media investigations, and reports issued by Israeli and international organizations documenting torture in Israeli prisons, the international community continues to stand by and allow Israel to commit crimes against the Palestinian people.
