A reminder that tomorrow is Sports Day & all learners will need to arrive to school in their full MHS PE kit.

Inter form activities will run during lessons 2 & 3 - with track events taking place during lessons 4 & 5.

Sports Day 2022

Monday 4th July

We are delighted to share the news that the Martin High Sports Day will be taking place on Monday 4th July.

The day will consist of inter form sports in the morning and track events in the afternoon. All learners must arrive in full MHS PE kit with a refillable drinks bottle to use throughout the day.

Food will be served as normal at break times and lunch times.

🚨Calling all Year 11 learners / parents / carers 🚨

We offer a support programme at MHS for Uniform / PE kit to be donated to families in need.

If you are willing to donate any spare uniform - you can drop it off at reception who will gladly accept it and redistribute.

Our talent academy are in action again tomorrow - leading and supporting at a Tennis event for Year 3 learners at Rothley Tennis Club.

We are super proud of them and know they will do an amazing job 🙌

Well done to Ollie B and Hannah, who both went above and beyond- their enthusiasm was described as infectious, which inspired the students they were working with👏🏻

MHS Talent Academy were out today leading a School Games Paralympic Festival, at Loughborough University.

We are beyond proud of how these individuals coached and supported the student athletes taking part. Incredible feedback given by the organisers and schools participating.

Leaders were involved with a multi sport event including wheelchair basketball, judo, badminton and inclusive sports. As well as being the event mascots, great job to Harry and Chloe for stepping up.

The game went to the lottery of penalties and eventually a sudden death penalty 😮

Unfortunately it resulted in a loss for MHS - The team have been outstanding throughout this competition and have made us extremely proud!

The year 7 girls football team travelled to south Wigston today in the county cup 🏆

After going 1-0 down the team showed great determination and amazing energy levels to equalise in the last minute to make it 1-1 🙌
