An Emperor of Ethiopia was a regular user of Weston-Super-Mare's outdoor pool "Tropicana", following his exile from Abyssinia in 1934. The disused Tropicana was later the setting for Banksy's Dismaland installation. Probably my favourite rogue (non Bristol) entry in Know Bristol.
