Believing that Jesus Christ came in flesh, died on the cross for our sins, after 3 days rose from the dead, today He is alive, arms us with the power that we ne
The message of the cross, is foolishness to those perishing but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God, 1 Cor. 1:18. The fear of the LORD is beginning of wisdom, Proverbs 9:10.
"Christians follow Paul, not Jesus."
That used to be my favorite argument as a Muslim.
Then I actually studied Paul.
And the argument fell apart.
Paul wasn't some random guy inventing theology. He was a Pharisee trained under Gamaliel, one of the most respected Jewish teachers of his generation.
He knew the Torah.
He knew the prophets.
And he hated Christianity.
He persecuted Christians, dragged them from their homes, and approved their executions.
Then something happened.
He encountered the risen Christ.
And overnight, the man hunting Christians became one.
Think about that.
If Paul invented Christianity, why did he spend his life pointing people to Jesus instead of himself?
Why did Peter, James, and John endorse him?
Why did his teachings align with the apostles who actually walked with Christ?
And why would he willingly endure beatings, imprisonment, stoning, and eventually execution for a message he knew was false?
People may die for something they mistakenly believe is true.
But they do not willingly die for a lie they invented themselves.
Paul didn't create Christianity.
He met the risen Jesus and spent the rest of his life proclaiming Him.
If you've been told Paul invented Christianity, you've been handed a slogan, not an argument.
When I was Muslim, I would argue & say we had the same prophets as Christians.
But this one broke me:
Surah 17:101: Allah gave Moses 9 clear signs.
I knew the list. The staff. The shining hand. The drought. The flood. The locusts. The lice. The frogs. The blood.
I held onto those 9 signs like proof I had the real story.
But bro, you know what shook me?
There’s a night missing.
After all nine signs, right before Israel walks out of Egypt, something happens that the Quran goes completely silent on.
A lamb is slaughtered.
Its blood painted on the doorposts.
And death passes over every house covered by that blood.
The Passover.
I grew up hearing the whole Exodus story. But nobody ever told me about the blood on the door.
Islam just skips it.
And here’s what wrecked me.
The Bible, the book I was taught was corrupted, mentions the Passover over 70 times.
Exodus. Leviticus. Numbers. Deuteronomy. The Psalms. The Prophets. The Gospels. Paul.
70 times.
So I had to ask myself the honest question:
If men corrupted this book, why would they obsess over the same story for 1500 years? Across dozens of authors who never met?
You don’t forge a document 70 times.
That’s just not corruption.
That to me is preservation.
And then I read the line that finished me off.
1 Corinthians 5:7.
“Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed.”
That’s when it hit me.
The whole story was never just about Moses.
It was always pointing to a King.
The final lamb. Whose blood, when applied to your life, makes death pass over you.
Forever.
The Quran gave me 9 signs but hid the one night that explains why any of them happened.
Because the moment a Muslim understands the Passover…
he’s one step away from the cross.
When we have identified the promises of the Father. And we have agreed with Him on them. Then, we are just like Abraham & Joseph who were given promises. As Abraham & Joseph had to wait 25 years & 13 years respectively. We also have to be just as patient. As Joseph was tested while waiting for the promise to be fulfilled. We too shall be tested whenever we wait for the Father. It is how we react during these moments of testing that has a greater say on whether we are promoted or not. So the moment of waiting, is the moment of tests. Have you agreed with the Father on anything?. Are you ready for your test?.

Where there is no meditation of the Word & prayer. The heart is left lonely & at risk like an unattended toddler. Whatever evil is suggested, such a heart might jump for friendship or companionship. And defeat follows, manifesting itself in sickness or demon manipulation. The sickness that we see, is the reflection of a spiritually defeated spirit. When the spirit has been forgiven/ received salvation, it is healed spiritually. This spiritual healing of the spirit, manifests itself in the physical healing of the body or deliverance from demon bondage.

Even when trusting the Father might seem difficult or illogical. We ought to ask ourselves, "who is trustworthy, the Father or my situation?." Surely, the Father is faithful in all circumstances.

When we apply the Word of God on the challenges before us. The nature of the challenge changes to a test. And we know that examinations or tests are not meant for anyone's destruction. But rather to check if we are ready for promotion.

Acts 13:22
*I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do*.’
- Such is the faith that pleases the Father, doing all that He commands us to do. A person of faith, no matter the circumstances, acts the Word in all situations. Such are those whom the Father calls, "a person after my own heart."
The LORD Jesus Christ said, "*if you abide in me. And my Word abides in you. Ask whatever you desire & it shall be done for you*, John 15:7. This means that the Word ought to be resident in our heart/ spirit, words & deeds.
When our spirit/ heart is pregnant with the Word. Then, if we speak over situations, it is the same as the LORD Jesus Christ speaking. The Word becomes reality as what it promises, happens. *The Word is near us. In our heart to believe & in our mouth to confess*, Romans 10:8-10.
John 20:31, *these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, & that by believing you may have life in His name*. Revelation 22:20, *“Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, LORD Jesus Christ!.* 2 Corinthians 4:13, *I believe, therefore I speak*!. Acts 27:25, *I believe God*!, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, *the LORD is faithful*!. Mark 5:36, *Just believe*!, John 16:27, *God loves you!.* Stay blessed!.

*Grace & peace to you from Him who is, & who was, & who is to come, & from the seven spirits before His throne, & from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, & the ruler of the kings of the earth*.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
*Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus*.
- Why give thanks in both good & bad times alike?. Because to believers, the challenges before us may never destroy or harm us. For *the plan of the Father is never to harm us. But to give us hope & a future*, Jeremiah 29:11.
All negative circumstances always work out for the good of those who love (obey) the Father. For *in all things, the Father always works for the good of us who love Him*, Romans 8:28.
Nothing but only the Father's will may happen to us. For *in all circumstances only the will of the Father prevails*, Proverbs 19:21.
The Father is faithful. Therefore, *there is no wisdom, no insight & no plan that can succeed against the Father*, Proverbs 21:30. *The LORD Jesus Christ is the Vine & we are the branches*, John 15:5. What works in & through the Vine, works in us & for us.
