Research from Prof Scholz in Hamburg proves that not only is contamination by oil and its additives a frequent occurrence, there is also contamination by microscopic metal particles as well.

@ToxicAer Unfortunately Tom what you see there is a smoking gun. Evidence of antiquated design and lack of regulation. The regulators are financed by the industry. Change is only driven by single catastrophic events. That’s what gets the attention of the public. It’s a joke but not funny.
@ToxicAer Amazing! Most of the rubbish on that site is just hyped up and over embellished CV’s. Give them something truthful and accurate and they can’t digest it.
@ToxicAer@AerLingus After poisoning you and possibly ending your career. I wonder what punishment they have in store for you. Considering it’s Easter perhaps it’ll be Flogging or Crucifixion.
@Michaelkelly707 I sincerely hope Michael that Aer Lingus is addressing the serious issues of Toxic Fumes in your aircraft so that these Future Pilots don’t quickly become your Past Pilots.

@IAGAeroGroup Let’s hope Mr Johnson immediately addresses the issue of unfiltered bleed air contaminating the cockpit and cabin environment and puts an end to poisoning of crew and passengers.

@SimonHarrisTD Congratulations Simon. I’m sure your passion and energy will stand you well in leading this country. I would ask you to carefully consider the issue of toxic air in the aircraft cabin environment. Too many of your global colleagues have ignored this public health & safety issue.
@Lisbiggeen@ToxicAer@keira_con Hi Dympna. Simply pie the air you breathe on an aircraft is sourced from the engine. It almost always has a low level of background oil or hydraulic fluid contamination. On occasion this level increases to dangerous values. This air is not filtered.
@doyle_esther@ToxicAer@AnybodyButBerti This issue has been covered up by the aircraft and engine manufacturers, airlines, regulators and shamefully pilot unions for years. The safety implications are horrifying.
The biggest obstacle to driving change is a lack of unity from all parties concerned.
@Tommy18327844@ToxicAer The sad thing Tommy is that this may already have happened.
No sensors, no warning system - No Evidence.
Post accident the fumes dissipate just like ice related events when the evidence melts.
Impaired pilot cognitive function erroneously blamed as Pilot Error.
@ConsumerFrank @MAPICC2021 @the_ecologist @SusanMichaelis1 It wasn’t a criticism Frank. Errors can occur but the vested interests who are monitoring will seek to discredit any information that they can. Just the way a certain rodent will attack when cornered.
@SusanMichaelis1
Susan, I would like to congratulate and thank you for your tireless work and research into issues that wholeheartedly deserve to be brought into the public domain.
It’s thanks to people like you that change can happen.
@DanMonket @Airbus@JAL_Official_jp Xavier. I agree with you that the A350-900 is an incredible machine. However it’s inherent flaw is that the air you breathe on board is sourced from the compressor stage of the engine and has the potential to cause serious injury to crew and passengers who breathe it.
@Airbus@JAL_Official_jp Great news from Airbus. Still waiting on your announcement to develop the next generation of Bleed Air Free aircraft. And a Retrofit Bleed Free solution for existing aircraft. The time for poisoning of Passengers and Crew is over.
