@AnfieldEdition I don’t think that Slot warrants being anywhere near the managers position next season, but considering the experienced players leaving this summer will the club view it as to much of a risk to also change the manager? Difficult decisions to be made….
@DaveOCKOP Over the last 12/18 months Liverpool far too often only play to their potential on smalls segments of each game. And it’s usually not enough to gather momentum. This is a philosophy problem as the talent is there within the squad.
@30YearsRed There’s no real style of play. Hasn’t been for a long time. Under Klopp, if players dropped out those filling in knew what they had to do and how to do it. There is no identity in Slot’s tactics.
@JosiahPerr30138@AnfieldEdition Genuine question as it’s a matter of opinion…. Bar maybe one omission it’s a good list but in what age bracket is your dad? Did he see Kenny, Rush, Barnes live at their peak in the late eighties? Thanks.
@roykeanereviews I’ve said it before and ill say it again. McCallister’s had his head turned this transfer window. There’s no way they leave the lad behind for a tough away fixture in Paris. Was his agent doing the coach head count on the way to the airport? Unprofessional.
@WeAreTheOverlap On TAA, the celebration after his winning goal at Leicester said to me he’s staying. Yet, he would’ve known by then that he wasn’t. Be honest with the fans who supported you, then give all you’ve got in the remaining time you have left in the shirt.
@30YearsRed As bad as Liverpool were, I think luck went horribly against them a key points. Goals change momentum in games… looking at the league, it’s strangely recoverable if Slot finds balance. It’s uniquely tight between many teams at the moment. A small positive?
@30YearsRed Very much so. No urgency in the play going forward and painfully exposed in defence, best performance of the season needed in the second half
@TheImmortalKop As bad as Liverpool have been in the league this season, it’s still recoverable if Slot Gets it right. I’m not saying they will win the league, but in terms of points it’s very close between many teams. Liverpool are fortunate that three or four sides haven’t fully clicked yet.
@rudkin_abigail Without doubt should’ve counted and Liverpool should be heading in at half time at 1-1 but on reflection at full time, I’m not sure it eouldve mattered. So far off City’s hunger to win the game it’s unreal.
@indykaila Of course he didn’t. The header was so far out the keeper clearly sees it and how the ball is travelling. Despite video replays the premier league has Sunday league level officiating. And that’s brash on the Sunday league refs!
