@KylePagan_ 30 to 40 years. You would need to restructure the way kids play football by scrapping these shit academy’s. Create local leagues to add competition. Create representative state teams that the best players were scouted for at youth level. Improve the MLS drastically
@AdamJoseph@Ellis_ Why would this be frustrating, Alex Scott is a considerable better player than Fernandes. Other than potential to be good Fernandes is yet to do anything in the Prem? Not saying he won’t in the future but why are we acting like Fernandes was the be-all and end-all?
@FergieStandards Why is Mateus so good? the other two yes but until we were linked with him I’d never heard him mention once at United or online? Now it’s like we have missed out on a prime Kante because he went to spurs for more money
@Charlanardo So based of this, Fergie was shite and was just part of the boys club? When he replaced Ronaldo and Tevez with Owen, Valencia and Obertan? Right pushover of a bloke?
Or it’s the first week of July and most players are at or have up to very recently been at the World Cup.
@FergieStandards Probably be made up for 40 million 4 payments of 10 mill and 5 mill in add ons so 85million in one season is a massive overspend on a player who is nothing more than potential
@talkSPORT I’m aware that being in location is an advantage for the Mexican but a professional athlete dropping 15% max should not be the decider considering the gulf in quality between the two squads. We lose this game it’s us not the ground/altitude or home advantage to Mexico
@talkSPORT Most of Mexico players play in Europe, MLS etc. so don’t regularly train at altitude either, slight advantage being in locations few weeks longer but 18 England players who play 60 games a season should be more than fit enough to beat this Mexico team
@TyrellMillwood@talkSPORT Sports science and altitude chambers, surely and I mean surely this would have been a consideration as the prep for this World Cup. Saying that the coaches didn’t know R.James was injury prone or Spence was crap so who knows
@scottyflem71@talkSPORT Pretty sure you would be dead if you tapped your mouth and nose up but must admit I’m not a Dr. So England with millions of pounds at their disposal wouldn’t have utilised altitude chambers for the last 6 weeks reducing the effects with this fixture on the cards?
@KingFemi__ So from this list spurs have Tonali who is decent, Bentacur is ok when fit and Fernades has potential to be good. Other than that I would expect us to run all over the midfield with what we have now
@TelegraphDucker Tonali, a little overpriced but not bad business as he improves most Prem clubs. Fernandes on 250k a week, huge agent fee, and £85m is remarkably shite business. Realistic fan opinion, majority of fans are not sensationalist like Goldbridge, despite media pushing that narrative
