🚨 Spider-Man: Brand New Day may have revealed the MCU's biggest secret yet

In the movie, Bill Metzger accidentally kills Sarah Grey, Jean Grey's sister, during one of his experiments.

But Marvel never explains how Jean Grey got her powers. And that's what makes this so interesting.

In the comics, Jean doesn't gain her powers through an experiment or an accident. She is born a mutant.

So if Marvel skipped her origin story, maybe there was nothing to explain. Jean never got her powers. She always had them.

If that's true, it could mean mutants have always existed on Earth-616. Marvel has simply kept them hidden until now.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day may be the first MCU film to reveal that mutants were always part of this universe.

🚨 Peter Parker just repeated Tony Stark's biggest mistake in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Peter first builds an inhibitor to control his own arachnid DNA. To stop Jean Grey, he upgrades it into a Universal Inhibitor that can suppress any super-powered person.

Bruce Banner warns Peter this technology could become dangerous. Peter still takes the risk, and that is where the real problem begins.

In the X-Men comics, anti-mutant groups are always searching for ways to control or remove mutant powers.

Peter wants to save lives. But in the wrong hands, his invention could become a weapon against mutants.

It could even lead to inhibitor collars like the ones seen in X-Men '97, or be built into Sentinels designed to hunt mutants.

NED LEEDS IS THE NEXT SORCERER SUPREME

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has many emotional moments. One of the biggest is Jean manipulating Peter by saying MJ still loves him. It is heartbreaking and feels completely unfair.

The movie's biggest reveal is that one person still remembers Spider-Man. By the ending, that person is revealed to be Ned Leeds.

Ned is Peter's childhood best friend. Their bond is stronger than anyone else's, and Ned has always admired Spider-Man. After learning Peter's identity, his buried memories slowly return.

This also connects to Spider-Man: No Way Home. Ned easily used Doctor Strange's sling ring, which led many fans to believe he would become a sorcerer.

🚨 Bruce Banner forgot Peter Parker after Doctor Strange's spell but Spider-Man: Brand New Day finally proves that Hulk never did

Peter visits Banner for help with his mutation. To protect his identity, he introduces himself as Ned Leeds instead of Peter Parker.

Later, Jean Grey removes Banner's inhibitor and forces him back into Savage Hulk. She controls him for a while, but can't keep Hulk under control.

As Savage Hulk attacks Spider-Man, Peter says, "I'm your friend, Peter." He says Peter, not Ned.

The name triggers something in Hulk. His rage fades, and he calms down, letting Banner return to his human form.

This suggests Strange's spell erased Banner's memory, but not Hulk's. It also shows Hulk's mind is far harder to control or erase.

If Doctor Doom later wipes everyone's memories in Battleworld, Hulk could be one of the few heroes who still remembers everything, giving him a major role in Avengers: Secret Wars.

🚨 Marvel dropped a huge hint in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but almost nobody noticed it

Cindy Moon finally returns in Brand New Day. She appears in Dr. Banner's DNA Mutation class, and that small detail could be a big clue about her future.

This isn't her first MCU appearance. Cindy first appeared in Homecoming, then had a cameo in Infinity War, and now returns for a third time.

Seeing the same character in three movies doesn't feel random. It looks like Marvel is slowly setting up something bigger.

In the comics, Cindy becomes Silk after being bitten by the same radioactive spider as Peter Parker.

Ezekiel Sims hides her for years to protect her from the Inheritors, a family that hunts Spider-Totems across the Multiverse.
