Welp, this is it, A24 is now trying to copyright the backrooms. They’re taking down wallpaper designs from redbubble that were made ages before the film came out.
Andrew Garfield shades J.K. Rowling while praising the artists that worked on the ‘Harry Potter’ films:
“[Daniel Radcliffe] is really good in the ‘Harry Potter’ films, the films are really good. I know it’s controversial and we shouldn’t be putting money in the pocket of inhumane legislations right now, through… she who shall remain nameless, […] but there are so many beautiful artists that worked on those films.”

The Corgi was the one leading them home
The German Shepherd was injured
The dogs kept a protective formation around the German Shepherd
The Corgi stopped often to make sure they were still okay
It took them 2 days to get home
They are neighbourhood friends
I’m going to cry😭😭😭
i'm so disappointed they cut this. it shows how as soon as they found out they went from viewing him as their loser classmate and immediately started dehumanizing him… and it would be so much more impactful now given he is physically becoming less human in brand new day GOD.
Delroy Lindo called it “a classic case of something that could be very negative becoming very positive.”
For families living with Tourette’s, this past week has not felt positive.
Since the BAFTAs and what happened with John Davidson, I have been arguing that my son deserves to leave his home and be included in society like everyone else.
I have had to explain, again and again, that Tourette’s is neurological.
That tics are involuntary.
That coprolalia is not belief, not intent, not character.
Yet the conversation keeps circling back to whether people like John, and by extension my son, should simply stay home to avoid offending anyone.
Stay home.
Remove yourself.
Do not attend events.
Do not exist publicly in case your disability makes someone uncomfortable.
That is the reality this week.
This is not abstract for me. My son already navigates anxiety and the constant fear of being misunderstood. Inclusion cannot mean only if your disability is convenient. It cannot mean you are welcome as long as you do not embarrass us.
My son deserves to leave the house.
He deserves to attend events.
He deserves to exist in public.
And I am exhausted from having to argue that basic truth.
Tourette Syndrome campaigner John Davidson issued a statement after his racial slur at the BAFTA Film Awards:
“I appreciated the announcement to the auditorium in advance of the recording, warning everyone that my tics are involuntary and are not a reflection of my personal beliefs. I was heartened by the round of applause that followed this announcement and felt welcomed and understood in an environment that would normally be impossible for me. In addition to the announcement by Alan Cumming, the BBC and BAFTA, I can only add that I am and always have been deeply mortified if anyone considers my involuntary tics to be intentional or to carry any meaning. I have spent my life trying to support and empower the Tourette’s community and to teach empathy, kindness and understanding from others and I will continue to do so. I chose to leave the auditorium early into the ceremony as I was aware of the distress my tics were causing.”
It blows my mind every time I see people say that bc not only are you missing out on the foundation of the series but also the pure cinema of those early seasons.
@cineworld I fully agree, I would love mark to delve into adapting indie games you wouldn't think would be good films, he seema to see potential everywhere, a dredge one would be great. I think mouthwashing would be cool too.
ppl talking about how much money mark is gonna make off iron lung meanwhile he’s said like 5 times already that he’s gonna give the cast and crew massive bonuses for helping him make this movie a reality
