*Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) response to Alarming Reports Regarding the Potential Hospital Transfer and Health of our Leader & Founding Chairman Imran Khan*

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf expresses grave concern over reports and speculations suggesting a plan to secretly shift our Leader Imran Khan to a hospital for treatment without taking his family into confidence. Such an act is a blatant violation of both fundamental human rights and prevailing legal requirements.

The party’s stance in this regard is clear: transferring Imran Khan to any location without informing his family and physicians, or commencing any medical examination or treatment in their absence, is a grave violation of the Constitution of Pakistan and jail rules. This will not be acceptable under any circumstances.

We totally reject any form of secrecy surrounding the health of the former Prime Minister. Hiding facts once again—reminiscent of past patterns—is tantamount to deliberately putting Imran Khan’s health and life at risk.

We want to make it clear that every type of medical examination and treatment for Imran Khan be ensured immediately in the presence of his personal physicians and at least one member of his family. Any action taken in the absence of his family and doctors will not be accepted.

Furthermore, it is essential that this process be conducted independently under the supervision of reputable doctors and hospitals recommended by the party. The government will be held entirely responsible for the consequences of any secretive or unilateral action.

We are deeply distressed that despite the passage of two days, the Supreme Court has not yet issued written orders. We had high hopes that the Chief Justice of Pakistan would issue immediate orders on humanitarian grounds to ensure prompt medical treatment.

The delay employed in the Founding Chairman’s treatment until now is extremely unfortunate and inhumane. We demand that his treatment be started immediately without wasting any more time.

We wish to make it clear that if any harm comes to the safety or health of Imran Khan, the entire responsibility will lie with the current Federal and Provincial governments, and the occupying administration.

PTI warns the current regime to desist from taking any further unconstitutional actions in this matter. No compromise whatsoever will be made regarding the health and wellbeing of our Leader.

*پندرہ شعبان کو پیدا ہونے والا شخص امام مہدیؑ ہے یا نہیں اس پر اختلاف ہو سکتا ہے،*
*لیکن یہ کہنا کہ امام مہدیؑ کی ولادت ہی نہیں ہوئی، ایک غیر معقول بات ہے۔*
