@shitscaredmum In Wrexham, we have a building (now used as a further education college) that was a hospital built as a memorial after WW1 with public donations - you can still see an open verandah where patients were wheeled out in beds for fresh air. Just thought of this ??
@paulmasonnews A brilliant progressive voice for Labour?? As health minister, she said the appalling record of the abysmal Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board was nothing to do with her. Talking to people in Wrexham, this is why votes went elsewhere. Politics in Wales poorer without her. As if!!
@adavies4 Seems to me that Welsh Labour have a bit of a blind spot for Wales. So many people in my area, covered by the abysmal Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board, have said that the appalling health Service is the reason for not voting for Welsh Labour. Can't blame Keir for that.
@CarterRoutes Is this the same Eluned Morgan who, when Health Minister, said that the continued abysmal performance of Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board ( in special measures for years) was nothing to do with her? Represented the best of our party? Really?? If this is the best, words fail me.
@adavies4 The state of the NHS in Wales was, according to all the people l spoke to, a huge influence in turning voters away from Welsh Labour. Health boards perpetually in special measures. Yet enough spare money to spend £50m buying Cardiff Airport, and £100m keeping it in business.
@WillHayCardiff Any politician, who, as Health Minister, stated that the abysmal performance of the always-in-special-measures Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board is 'nothing to do with me' does not deserve to be in any office of State, let alone First Minister.
@jamswilliams85@BBCRadioWales Maybe....but for better or worse? No truck with any party really, just want the best for Wales and its people. Been voting since 1975, never missed. Parents said it was my duty, men and women died so l could. I want to think their sacrifice was worth it, but not sure anymore.
@deanhenderson If l ever had the good fortune to meet you, l would hug you so hard l would probably injure your ribs. Not ideal, l know, but hard to put into words how much you are loved by Palace fans. Thank you so much, here's to a magic night in Leipzig!
@Helen_Fields My husband found the same - in 1979. Applied all over the country. Frequently no replies. It's sadly nothing new - law degree or any other, job seeking has always been a demoralising slog. Patience paid off in the end, though.
@7daysofaction7@mrdanwalker That's what they tend to do? Do you have the guts to explain who 'they' are? I very much doubt it, or whether Dan Walker, an avowed Christian, would, agree with you.
@BrynLaw@Wrexham_AFC 70 points, too. Looked at the run in to the end of season when the fixtures came out last summer. Horrible. How are we going to pick up points there if we need to? Thinking of the wrong end of the table! Fantastic achievement whatever the outcome.
@Mark86911304@Wrexham_AFC@united Sparkling spring day in Wrexham, 19 degrees outside. Front row of the Tech end tonight, got to make as much noise as humanly possible. Tough opponents as Arsenal found out. COYR!
@philritchie Had no idea it was on until l heard mention of it on a radio news bulletin yesterday morning. Hope the whoever sold the rights to Channel 4 (was it them?) is happy that the event, something many millions watched without being rowing fans, will now be mostly forgotten.
@ukrailadventure You may well have enjoyed this on a TFW train (first class Cardiff/Manchester?) but the rest of us plebs enduring day to day TFW services have nothing but delays, cancellations and cattle class on woefully overcrowded services. Only a refreshment trolley if you are lucky.
@Mark_Pie@fearlessidzine Never forget where you came from is the Wrexham way. Tunny helped to get where we are now. Best wishes to him and Farnborough (club AND fans!).
@MailSport Daily Mail with another rant about Wrexham. Not sure what they have done to upset such a beacon of fair and unbiased journalism as the DM, but really, who gives a f**ck?
@wxm_afc@fearlessidzine Walked over the bridge by Wrexham General at 7pm and met some Chelsea fans asking where they went for the train to Chester. Pointed them in the right direction, but who comes up from London just for the first half, then goes home? Odd bunch indeed.
