Polarization currently happening in Venezuela between the old interim president Guido and the current president/dictator Maduro have divided the already crisis ridden country. The United States announced $376 million in new humanitarian help to respond to the needs of Venezuelans

The War in South Sudan shows the polarization as it’s a civil war and the country is still divided between different groups. As prevention measures, the ICC opened the trial of the former Janjaweed leader Muhammad Ali which is the first trial against him and his war crimes.

Atafona, Rio de Janeiro on the north coast as a result to glaciers melting is threatened with sea level rise on avg 6 meters per year towards Atafona but some ideas exist on how to solve this problem like building dikes to reduce the ocean’s waves. @class2022cgp @WHS_MSGORDON

Shanghai China, where the housing problem continues to get worse as a result of sprawl and increase in poverty. The edges of the city are practically nonexistent as the difference between the city and the suburbs becomes more distinct.
