Potato Bolsheviks side account

[F♯A♯∞, fka ☕️ @coopercooperco]

Only watched the first 3 eps of Andor but once again beginning to resent how this show makes me care about Star Wars. I can’t handle it. Rise was supposed to have killed that. It did! And yet,

[LUCIL∀ @denpanopticon]

this is a good example of the limits of fiction as political texts, a communist wrote a story called "the evil anti communist" and made the main character a caricature of a dogmatic social darwinist, but people are using it to justify their anti communist sentiment.

One of the wildest things in the history of France is the "Cagots": a minority with no other apparent distinguishing feature, who were persecuted for centuries until the early 1900s.

[Great House @xspotsdamark]

Actually, Europe is the only continent that didn’t independently develop agriculture in the Neolithic revolution. They had to wait for Anatolian farmers to introduce agriculture to Europe 5000 years after the rest of the world

Americans calling public transport "bug colony" is funny because this is closer to a bug's life than any subway system.

@nise_yoshimi I think there was one who had a lesbian harem with a bunch of twi’leks

[START ORGANIZING! START ORGANIZING! 🇵🇸🏳️‍⚧️🇿🇦 @red_baiting]

When Mao said "Isolate the reactionary" I don't think he meant "organize a party where they can all be easily identified and targeted," but the ACP has convinced me that that may actually be an okay strategy.

[blue @words_salad]

I'm sorry I know she's going through it and I shouldn't be laughing but look at her face man😭 she cannot stand those Yavin rebels and their khaki ass outfits
#Andor

[morg 📚 @wet_paint_books]

just saw a white afrikaner steal a woman's dog and eat it

[J-Boi @JboiHQ]

Andor has people saying things that have never EVER been said before

[Lincoln Michel @TheLincoln]

AI's flaws remain a million times more interesting than its strengths

[James🔻 @GoodVibePolitik]

People asking “Where are the Palestine protests now?” are really giving the game away by actually telling all of us that they haven’t been meaningfully plugged into the Palestine solidarity space at all.

[The Cosmopolitan Patriot 🌎 @AndromedaPip]

So that’s it, huh, we some kind of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics?

[assia??? @fckthfds]

Stoicism makes perfect sense when you realize they all were slave owners

[More PotBol @MashedPotBol]

@goof_iest One day it will kill you

[More PotBol @MashedPotBol]

@goof_iest You are insane and delusional

[josh! @queersocialism]

reading marx is so funny cause you realize like no one has read him like ever

[GoliathFan1952 @ByYourLogic]

I think you guys would sell more people on this if you weren’t completely in denial of something we all saw and heard. I actually don’t even think she’s totally cynical, and I don’t even think a lot of her critics do either. A cynic would have made better choices. But saying that

[Sett 🫒🦭 @Settch3n]

What are we, some kind of Union of soviet socialist republics..?
