BJP se Beti Bachao. That is the real warning for every girl in this country.

Today, along with LOP Sh. @RahulGandhi ji and Smt. @priyankagandhi ji, we stood in full solidarity with the family of Ankita Bhandari.

The family is in deep pain as it becomes clear that the entire Modi-Shah machinery is in complete support of Dushyant Gautam, the ‘VIP’ who they allege was at the centre of the entire horrific incident. Today, he has been appointed as a Governor and given immunity from prosecution.

We urge the Hon’ble President of India to urgently intervene in this decision and avoid this grave insult to Ankita Bhandari’s family from being perpetuated.

For 4+ years, the CBI case has also dragged on because the accused involved are high-and-mighty BJP leaders.

The women of Uttarakhand and the whole country will punish BJP severely for this. How cruel do you have to be that you reward a person at the heart of a rape scandal by making him a Governor?

This is of course a deeply humiliating insult for Ankita Bhandari and her parents. But it is also an insult to the Constitution. Someone so tainted being made a Governor diminishes the stature of the post and the Constitution itself.

[Mahua Moitra @MahuaMoitra]

This is Chanchal Yadav. The @DelhiPolice woman who uses her uniform to brutally assault Adira & other unarmed peaceful protestors. We are marking you. Your parents, your siblings, your kids will be ashamed of you.

[Rahul Gandhi @RahulGandhi]

I’d like to thank every single person who came out today for this protest. I'd also like to thank the millions of people who showed support in their own way at 3pm. Thank you to the leaders of INDIA bloc, all the workers of the Congress party and workers of the INDIA bloc.

Today was a very important day because we needed to show the government that the people of India are not going to be intimidated. You cannot beat us, threaten us, frighten us. We will not accept being bullied.

I was wondering where the cowards of the RSS who were beating the young children day before yesterday were. Where were those people? Because I didn’t see them.

When we are standing there and when the people of India are standing there, why don’t you come out? Why don’t you wear your little scarves and come out and see what happens?

Because you’re essentially, like the Prime Minister of India, bullies. You cannot stand up. You can only use power to fight.

So, it’s very heartening to see what happened. I’m proud of everybody. Everybody worked like a team.

As I said in my press conference, there are no parallel protests. It’s one protest, and it’s a protest where everybody is standing together. Every single person is going to stand against these killers of our Constitution, these killers of our democracy. And we’re not going to back down.

I’d also like to thank everybody from civil society organisations who came, supported us. We value your support, and we love all of you.

Thank you all for coming out and defending the idea of India, the idea of the Constitution, the idea of our democracy.

I’m extremely proud of every single person who came out on the streets. Thank you.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba) beautifully explains the true meaning of "Insha'Allah" through a humorous incident of a child waiting to board a plane.

"The actual meaning of Insha'Allah is that you have made Allah your witness, and so you must carry out that that work."

Can you tell the people of India, how much taxpayer money are you wasting on doing illegal surveillance on me?

Just give a rough estimate :)

Faith in Allah overcomes despair.

Explaining the difference between the anxiety experienced by prophets and ordinary people, Beloved Huzoor (aba) highlighted the importance of maintaining complete trust in Allah:

“Although a person experiences feelings of anxiousness due to his human nature (it is natural for a person to feel anxious and distressed), however he does so as this is a characteristic of human nature, which is shared by all prophets as well. For example, the Holy Prophet (sa) felt anxious during the Battle of Badr. The difference between ordinary people and prophets is that the anxiousness of prophets is never accompanied by despair (i.e. despondency), as is the case with ordinary people. They have the firm conviction that God will never let them go to waste.”

Can any number of barricades stop this?

Does Delhi Police think that if this crowd had headed to Jantar Mantar they could have stopped us even with 20,000 cops?

No chance.

Instead of SC, if we had marched to Jantar Mantar today, we would have easily broken the 5 layers of barricades and occupied Jantar Mantar.
