If names and parties were excluded from ballots and policies were listed you could vote for the candidate that best represented your ideals. With the added benefit of keeping the campaign cycle short and all but eliminating those dreaded campaign adds we currently suffer through.

I believe the two party system in the United States is fundamentally broken. I don’t think that this is a controversial statement at this point and believe many Americans would agree but are left without other options.

I’ll start by explaining the twitter handle. Rather than voting for parties voting on platforms. There is no fundamental reason why a persons party should play a part in a decision other than it serves as a reference point for their policies.
