I’m not exaggerating when I say this. I guarantee they have some MIT grad working for them in a back room that cracked the code on intercepting the radio frequency of PitchCom and has access to the “keys” to decipher each pitch. I legitimately don’t remember a single BOS hitter chase a breaking ball the whole series. I’m going to comb through the statcast data on O-swing%, barrel%, etc from start of streak compared to prior to streak. I’m fairly certain there’s going to be some crazy differences.

It is indeed getting juicy. The only reason the Red Sox have gone on this run is because they’re cheating. Allegedly, the reason Cora was fired is because he wouldn’t co-sign on hacking the pitch coms because he couldn’t bring himself to cheat and ruin the game he loves.
