An uncomfortable truth about investing:
Sometimes, doing nothing is a better decision than forcing an investment.
Not every opportunity deserves your money.
Patience is also a strategy.
One thing I'm learning about building wealth:
You don't have to make extraordinary money to start building wealth.
But you do need to make intentional decisions with the money you have.
Start where you are. Learn as you go. Think long-term.
One thing I have noticed about learning:
You can consume educational content every day and still make little progress.
Watching videos isn't the same as learning. Reading about a skill isn't the same as using or mastering it. ⬇️
Unpopular opinion:
You don't always need more money to improve your financial situation.
Sometimes, you need to understand where the money you're already earning is going.
Earning more helps. But if your spending habits never change, how much will it really solve?
Quick question for builders and investors:
What's one hard truth about learning or building that nobody tells you early on?
For me, it's realizing that impulse control and emotional regulation can matter just as much as technical skill.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria 🇳🇬
I'm chasing another kind of independence too:
Financial freedom.
Freedom over my time.
Freedom to build the life I want.
Still learning. Still building. Still investing.
Sometimes you don't need more motivation.
You need fewer things competing for your attention.
Your phone.
Your notifications.
Your endless scrolling.
Your "I will do it later."
Protect your attention like it's money.
Because, in a way, it is...
One thing I'm learning about investing:
- A stock being down doesn't automatically mean it's cheap.
- Price falling is an event.
- Cheapness is a valuation judgment.
Those two things aren't the same.
Whether it's staying consistent with studying, managing your capital or staying focused on your goals, stop trusting your mood and start designing your system.
Me? I've started all over again trusting my mood. I don taya. 😂 Na to just design my system.
I'm beginning to think that discipline isn't about having extraordinary self-control.
It's about designing your environment so you don't have to exercise self-control every five minutes.
Remove the distraction.
Make the good habit easier.
Make the bad habit harder.... 🧵
