Our Type 1 team in Louisiana had a busy & productive day yesterday. 3 squads were out on searches. 1 squad continued today searching that area. The other 2 went to meet local officials & evaluate their needs. All 3 teams met up & continued to evaluate areas effected. #matf1
Today, we received activation orders to deploy a 16 person water MRP down to New Jersey to assist with the flooding. The team left the cache at approximately 17:30 tonight. We will keep you posted on their mission. #hurricaneida2021#matf1#FEMA

After 1.5 days of travel, the team leadership made it to Baton Rouge last night & were able to conduct briefings with the IST this morning & received their work assignments & area of operation. The Team has been working missions all day assisting the residents. #HurricaneIda2021
