Today, November 26th, is the birthday of Lan T. Ho. She should be 54 today…and still here for her 2 children, now 23 and 25…but she died in the 2009 Binghamton immigrant aid center shooting. Lan and her husband were both taking a class at the center when the shooting unfolded.

Today, Nov 23, is the birthday of Otho “Ott” Raymond Brown. He would be 80 but died at 54 in the 1998 Connecticut Lottery attack. He had been president of the lottery for 4 years when he and 3 co-workers were killed by a disgruntled employee.

Today, November 26th, is the birthday of Shayla Martin. She should be 60 but died at 52 in the Cascade Mall shooting. Among her many passions, Shayla loved thrifting, rock collecting, cooking, gardening, reading, and watching her beloved Seattle Seahawks.

Today, November 25th, is the birthday of Robert Thomas “Bobby” Williams. He would be 77 but died at 72 in the Virginia Beach municipal building attack. According to family, Bobby was a loving and extraordinary husband, father, and “Pop-Pop.”

Today, November 23, is the birthday of LiLan Li. She should be 64 but died in the 2023 Monterey Park dance hall attack. Most of her family and friends still lived in China, but LiLan was very close to her only daughter and 2 grandchildren who also lived in California.

Today, November 22nd, is the birthday of Ronald Masuo Katoaka. He should be 75 but died in the 1999 Xerox Honolulu office shooting. A Vietnam Vet, Ron was also a 27-year employee of Xerox. He was taken from his wife and young daughter.

Today, November 21, is the birthday of Allison Nicole Parker. She would be 40 but died in the 2022 Memphis mass shooting. Allison was taken from three children, a 20-year-old daughter who was by her side when she was shot and twin 16-year-old twins.

Today, Nov 21, is the birthday of Henry Jake “Henh” Lee. He would be 37 but died at 20 at Virginia Tech. His dad & grandparents escaped Communist China on foot in 1950. Born in Vietnam, he came to the US w/family in 1994, carrying a letter documenting his grandfather’s service…

Today, November 20th, is the birthday of Maria Felix Munoz Florez. She should be turning 82 but died alongside her husband at the age of 77 in the El Paso Walmart shooting. They left behind 3 children, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Today, Nov 20, is the birthday of Mathew Joseph LaPorte. He would be 37 but died at 20 at Virginia Tech. He excelled in the VT Corp of Cadets. Focused & ambitious, he was an ROTC scholarship student studying poly sci & working for a USAF commission & a future in intelligence.

Today, Nov 19, is the birthday of Mark Meza. He should be 26 but died less than 2 weeks before his 21st birthday in the Borderline Bar shooting. Known for his wide grins & big hugs, Marky had a magnetic personality & was full of life & ambition.

Today, November 18th, is the birthday of Alexzandria Bell. She should be 17 but died at 15 in the 2022 shooting at a St. Louis performing arts high school. Weeks away from her sweet 16th birthday, Alexzandria was looking forward to a planned celebratory trip to Los Angeles.

Today, Nov 17, is the birthday of Gordon Ware Cowden. He would be 63 but died at 51 in the Aurora, Colorado, theater shooting. Described as a “true Texas gentleman,” Gordon enjoyed traveling, skiing, reading, & hunting, but most importantly, he loved spending time w/ his 4 kids.

Today, November 17th, is the birthday of Maite Yuleana Rodriguez. She should be turning 12 today but died in May 2022 in the Uvalde shooting. Kind, ambitious, and friendly, with a healthy dose of competitiveness, Maite was a sweet soul who was cherished by her family.

Today, Nov 17, is the birthday of Daniel Michael Ferguson. He would be 49 but died in the 2014 Fort Hood shooting at 39. An American hero, Danny served honorably, including numerous service commendations, in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Today, Nov 16, is the birthday of Kelly Loving. She would be 41 but died days after her 40th in the Colorado Springs Club Q attack. Kelly normally didn���t go out but celebrating her recent birthday and her move from Florida to Denver, she decided to visit Club Q on November 19th.

Today, November 15th, is the birthday of James Vinny LaGuardia. He would be 75 but died in the 2013 Saylorsburg, PA town meeting shooting. An Air Force veteran and member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, he ran a home electronics repair business in Staten Island and Pennsylvania.

Today, Nov 15, is the birthday of Sita Singh. He would be 53 but died in the 2012 Milwaukee Sikh Temple attack. He & his brother, Sikh priests, came from India in pursuit of a better life. Both were living at the Temple, saving, &working toward bringing their families also.
