@StebobM@everymovieandtv You're talking about external perception. I'm not. Those are 2 different arguments. Your initial tweet was trying to bend the internal story. That's like saying Yelena shouldn't have debuted as or been Nat's sister because the Black Widow movie flopped.
@StebobM@everymovieandtv That doesn't invalidate or makes Sam into a bad Captain America. Those are 2 different things. We're talking about the internal story/ plot.
@StebobM@everymovieandtv Actually, the majority either likes it or is neutral. It's just that there's a vocal minority who doesn't, especially here on Twitter. But they sometimes also tend to get ratioed.
@itbetk A lot of people, including myself who's a fan of Sam, would disagree with you unfortunately. imo, that was like scripted like a bad copy of The Winter Soldier with a bunch of Hulk elements in it. Not to mention, Sam barely has any character development in it either.
@majorgabor14@everymovieandtv Again, it's not about caring or not. It's their legit canon titles. Like I said, you or others not preferring it doesn't make it untrue or invalid. Idc about Loki after he died in Infinity War but it's stubborn to say that any Loki who'll appear in future projects is a fake.
@StebobM@everymovieandtv Not to mention, a film that flops has many other factors and reasons on why it did and sometimes has nothing to do with the validity of the characters (bad script/ overall story, dialogue, director/ cinematography, composer, management etc)
@StebobM@everymovieandtv It's still true though. A lot of minority factors stacked together makes a significant difference. Just because something isn't popular doesn't mean the internal plot logic is wrong or that it "doesn't work".
@jerkyjackson203@BenSolo2319@MCUFilmNews Yes, Steve Rogers. Same goes with Tony Stark, who is a regular human and isn't a super soldier, that fought titans such as Hulk, Obsidian Cull, and Thanos.
@majorgabor14@everymovieandtv I'm not debating if anybody cares or not. I'm stating the current official canon. And there's actually been recent promo art and toys of Doom, Black Panther, Captain America, Thunderbolts, and the F4 this and last week.
@StebobM@everymovieandtv You say it didn't work but I say it did, and it didn't work with audiences because it was in a TV series, Sam even as Falcon was always a supporting character, and some audiences have bad media comprehension and/ or is racist and stubborn.
