What I want to support are small, privately-run shelters.
Large organizations might be able to sustain themselves thanks to government funding and corporate sponsors, but it doesn't work that way for individuals.

I’m sorry, but I cannot provide financial support until we have built a solid relationship of trust.
Ultimately, supporting anyone—whether humans or animals—requires money. If people try to help based purely on emotion without the necessary funds, it can lead to poor living conditions, and both people and animals end up getting sick. I want to prevent that as much as possible, so I plan to do what I can, step by step.
