Looks like Trump going back after Iran now..

Oil is going to be a key indicator today. If we start seeing moves above $93-$95 with markets weak already today could get ugly quick but for now we have a decent gap up.

Markets with a decent gap down with some Iran tensions building back up. Looks like us attacking them is back on the cards after the deal agreement had want nowhere.

Watchlist:

Watching just the Nasdaq, if it breaks back above 21 day ema it’s safe to get back into calls, if we break below its time to start looking at continuation puts.

Use the 21 Day EMA on the Nasdaq as your pivot today and don’t get married to one side, calls when above it, puts are swingable if we close below it again.

Markets are gapping up sharply after Fridays collapse. Tbd if this is a dead cat bounce before next leg lower or if a full recovery is coming.

As of now Nasdaq has revived recovered the 21 day ema, but that level is going to be the line in the sand today. Calls above, puts below. No watchlist, today’s trades depends on initial price action.

Markets are sharply gapping down this morning. Especially the Nasdaq. This is the first day since the before the cease fire we are seeing this heavy of a gap down about 1.5% in the NQ.

Today is a prime day for MDT 21EMA strategy to come into play if the Nasdaq can shed another -400ish points intra day for some calls.

Bread and butter trade that’s made me bank over the years. Buying calls at the daily 21 ema first touch after a strong bull uptrend. Or vice versa for a bear trend.

There’s no such thing as a holy grail in trading but this rare maybe 8-10 times a year max setup is not one you wanna miss but need to be patient.

This is my version of the watchlist today. Strictly waiting for leading chip, memory, ai, software, and some other tech names to touch their 21 ema or even better the Nasdaq and rip calls. No other setups personally in play for me today with it being a Friday.

NFP coming hot can be a pain for the economy and new Fed chair.. more on that in this weekends Substack post.

time to be a little cautious today. Not as easy as just taking calls at the 8EMA like the last 2 weeks because we are breaking below the 8 day ema on the markets premarket.
