@yajnadevam Chitpavans are not like any other "konkanis" they are high west eurasian shifted group, other konkanis like Marathas, Bhandari are 50 SAHG, the only group closer to them are Shenvis, Daivajna
We even have many 33 aasi and 20~22 steppe chitpavans
Here's the average 👇
Have you ever seen this Toda tribals from Nilgiri Hills,Tamil Nadu?
They are genetically closest living people to the IVC Shahr-i-Sokhta_BA2 cline.
Their women hairdo is even very similar to that of IVC female terracottas.
@hehe_poster Yes!
They are known as Toda who lives in Nilgiri hills,Tamil Nadu.
Genetically they are IVC rich with almost not much extra Steppe nor AASI(South Asian hunter-gatherer)
The genetically closest people to IVC people are these Toda tribals from Nilgiri Hills, T.N.
They are brown(although are said to be taller and have sharper facial features compared to their neighboring grps).
Modern day Rors, Hindu Jats get 35-42% of their aDNA from these ancient people from Bronze Age Russia.
Probably why a lot of them often have those hooded eyes with that negative canthal tilt.
Got access to good quality genotypes of ~300 castes across India (sneak peek in the image). I'm now literally an Indian amateur pop gen god.
This is actually revolutionary...
Working on a qpAdm repository currently, utilizing thousands of modern South Asian samples. I've also uploaded the output files, if anyone's interested.
Access the qpAdm table here: https://t.co/cRnqWxAfEX
The repository folder: https://t.co/1lpCSr1ZxN
I made this qpAdm table private recently because it still wasn't complete. Now, I've made it public again since I was getting requests daily. I won't be updating this datasheet anymore, as I'm making it from scratch again. Its still valid, so don't worry.

Been running a lot of qpAdm models lately. I've attached Some preliminary results, sorted for highest AHG-related ancestry (AASI), highest 'non-Steppe_MLBA west Eurasian' ancestry (Indus_N) and highest Steppe_MLBA ancestry across South Asia.
While the idea that KPs and some KMs score similar means that KPs assimilated non-Brahmins into their fold may be correct, one can just not claim this based on G25.
I left a comment on the post which goes into more detail: https://t.co/SdGseYnKZI
