Reach's portrayal of war is so perfect
Cat was a Spartan, super-human with countless battles under her belt and probably killed thousands of Covenant single-handedly and all it took was for her to drop her guard once and a bit of bad luck and boom, dead.
Completely unceremonious, no heroic blaze of glory just sniped mid-sentence. You don't even need any of the Spartan's to say anything, the way Noble 6 grabs her magnum and instantly starts firing along with everyone else like their IMMEDIATE instinct was to get back for their girl.
The final shot at the end of a burning New Alexandria with Carter carrying Cat's body while the music kicks in, no words needed to be said an no faces had to be shown, you know exactly how these guys are feeling.
Cinema
-Be Halo Campaign Devolved...I mean Evolved
-Using the Denuvo of Game engines, Unreal Engine 5
-Atrocious performance and stability
-Millennial writing as if the writers are some Marvel Cinematic Universe writer rejects.
-Every beloved character changed, voices at the least, complete personality changes at most.
-Every writer believe that being sarcastic, smug, condescending and needlessly aggressive is "cool"
-Someone's OC self-insert who looks like a bootleg John Marston, who keeps trying to antagonise Master Chief
-Destroying the original identity of the game by adding unnecessary things like dedicated sprint , that allows players to practically sprint and jump past enemies instead of engaging in the content naturally.
-Broken Ai, incomplete janky animations, bugs and glitches that were not even in the Anniversary Edition.
And the punchline by the looks of it:
- Increasing number of players are posting, sometimes with screencaps that they were denied refunds for the game, often well within the refund window - and even legit reasons like simply being unable to play.
I can feel the "Triple A" quality from here.
Call it a millennial crisis if you want...
But in my 30's, I realized I don't actually want the life I worked so hard for. I don't care about titles. I don't care about climbing anyone else's ladder. I care about time. I care about slow mornings. I care about peace.I care about bare feet at the beach with nowhere to be.
I still want to make money... just not at the cost of my life.
Domino's Pizza announced the end of physical pizzas, making fun of PlayStation after going all digital.
“In response to trends in the gaming industry, as of 1st April 2027, Domino’s UK will cease production of physical pizzas and shift to production of digital pizzas only.
Consumers will be able to download our full range of delicious pizza codes and enjoy them in an entirely virtual sense.”
I miss when Call of Duty had that grounded, gritty iraq war propaganda aestetic from the original Modern Warfare trilogy, rather than being a flashy Fortnite clone full of ridiculous skins, crossovers, and battle passes
@Yeenie_Mcbeenie No, but thanks for asking, you prevaricating prick.
Here's some receipts.
May you choke on them like you long to choke on animu dick.

In the game Fallout: New Vegas the most cherished character a devout Believer in God: Joshua Graham.
He was set on fire and thrown into the Grand Canyon, but survived. He doesn't seek revenge for himself, but justice for God.
His famous line: "I have been baptized twice, once in water, once in flame. I will carry the fire of the holy spirit inside until I stand before my Lord for judgment."
And: "We can't expect God to do all the work."
In a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of degeneracy, the most dangerous man is a devout missionary who quotes Psalm 137 while checking his .45 pistols.
Wild to think how much of an impact a few lines in a video game can have!
Some women online do this thing where they see a guy posting about how his requirements for a girl is just that she actually likes him and gives a shit, and then they proceed to take that incredibly personally for some strange reason.
