Once a MASTie….took some rising seniors (Cienna and Andrew) to help monitor horseshoe crab nests with @SaveCoastalWild this evening and ran into some alum. Abby and Jake (‘24) and Jan (‘16). And yes that is @MAST_SandyHook in the background.
Teacher appreciation day has been awesome! PTSA covering duties, breakfast on Monday, principal got us lunch yesterday and Senior Ciara T made us cookies. Feeling the love! Thank you
Great day for a boat trip ! Junior Piper D caught a big male clear nose skate which is part of her senior project looking at cartilaginous fish diversity in the bay. #Research#classof2026
Happy belated earth day post. On earth the seniors in research decided to pick up all the trash on and around campus. Big haul and a lot of work. Way to go
The MAST family lost someone special this week. Breege Boyer (“08) was a marine scientist and a beautiful person inside and out. She was a real life mermaid and we will miss her everyday. Just keep swimming Breege
So much fun at the Jersey Shore Science Fair this year. My juniors came, saw and spoke some science! Congrats to Cassara and Nick for fourth place and to Arjun, John and Annabel for some great presentations!!
So much fun bringing the 6th graders from @HopeacademyAP to visit the seals! Thank you to seal team seniors (Liv D, Liv P and Russ K), and the other volunteers. Special thanks to Sara from @SaveCoastalWild and none of this could be possible with out support from @SJ_Program
@SandBox_Medic @CrazyB2017@RBReich NOAA also makes the hydrographic maps the navy and commercial fleets rely on for safe passage on our coasts. The fisheries test commercially landed fish to make sure they are safe to eat. They do sooo much that impacts all of us daily.
