The death toll from Russia's strike on Kyiv has risen to 25. Over 100 people injured. There might still be people under the debris.
These are not just numbers, statistics that international organizations will later put into reports to state that Russian attacks killed more civilians in Ukraine this year than ever before.
Behind each number is a person, someone's world. An irreplaceable loss, a scar on all of us.
It is so painful to see these numbers mounting up, growing, spreading because Russia is still able to continue attacking us. Russia must be stopped, by force.

The list of Russia's targets during its latest massive attack on Ukraine includes:
- Apartment buildings that they decided to collapse onto sleeping families in Kyiv
- Houses and a farm in Kharkiv region
- A swimming pool in Zaporizhzhia
- A printing house
- Yet another Nova Poshta delivery service facility
- A meat processing plant in Zaporizhzhia
They are striking civilians and businesses with what would be a shocking randomness if it hadn't already lasted for years and wasn't their usual pattern. But it's a good time to remember that Ukraine is fighting absolute terrorists!
This is Fatima, a sixth-year medical student at Kharkiv National Medical University.
Russia killed her today.
She came to the city for her university graduation. She was only 23.
The girl who was killed by russian glide bomb in Kharkiv today came to the city for her university graduation.
A graduation robe lies next to her body...
HODGES: It would be nice to have American president who would say to Russians,
“Every time you threaten to use nuclear weapons, that’s another ship full of ammunition and supplies that we’re going to send to Ukraine.”
And, “Next time I hear you threaten to use nuclear weapons, let me remind you we have about 5,000 warheads and our allies have many hundreds more.”
And, this is my main criticism of Biden administration: as much good as they did to help Ukraine, they never could say we want Ukraine to win.
Because they were worried that this would be seen as too provocative to Russia. And so, it was really failed policy overall in the end.
Ukraine is going to be European, become a member of the EU, and join NATO - Finnish President Alexander Stubb
"What were Russia's strategic aims in this war? One was to deny Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Failure.
Number one: Ukraine is going to be European. It's going to become an EU member state and, eventually, a NATO member state."
HODGES: Crimea is in deep trouble right now. And the West should not start pressing Ukraine, "Hey, take it easy."
Because Ukrainians are getting closer to possibility of total isolation of Crimean peninsula, making all Russian assets there untenable.
The West also has an opportunity to really severely wreck Russia's oil and gas industry, and their export of it.
All of that would have significant effect on Russian side, Ukrainian side, and also how the rest of us view this conflict.
So, don't take your foot off the pedal. Now is the time that the West should be pressing the gas pedal to the floor.
Damit würde Russland v.a.

A russian soldier called “Grom” raped Alisa Kovalenko for four days.
Before that, they beat her. They threatened to cut off her fingers and her teeth. They promised they would get to her parents, and to her boyfriend.
She was 27 – a documentary filmmaker who had come to Donetsk Oblast to film the beginning of Russia’s war.
A taxi driver turned her in.
Her partner, the French producer Stéphane Siohan, raised the alarm in the media. The public attention saved her. She was released. She carried what happened alone for more than a year before she could say it out loud – and then became one of the first women in Ukraine to say it anyway.
Russia expected that to break her.
In 2022, when they came back for the rest of the country, Kovalenko first got the heroes of her unfinished film to safety. Then she volunteered for the front – a mother of a small son, serving as an assault infantry soldier.
She put it as simply as it can be put:
“When you see even one form of Russian evil, you understand that it must be stopped at any cost.”
They wanted a victim. They got a soldier.

💔 Druzhkivka, Donetsk region.
Another russian KAB strike.
A local resident recalls what happened:
“He ran toward the cries for help, but at that very moment the wall collapsed — and the cries stopped…”
That’s how everything changed in a second.
People were simply living in their city. Then russia decided their homes were a target.
Guided bombs dropped on apartment buildings. On ordinary people. Without mercy.
This is not a military operation.
This is terror against civilians.
And the world needs to see it.
Dear fellas,
🙏 Our own JoJo has done so much to help Ukrainian soldiers, and now she is the one who needs our help.
She is saving money for rehabilitation, so I'm asking you to chip in whatever you can to help her. Every dollar makes a difference!
Please share! 🙏
First, Lukashenka called on Ukraine to surrender. Now he is 'apologizing' to President Zelenskyy.
This is what 🇺🇦's strength has done. It exposed the weakness of a dictatorship built on lies, fear and dependence on Putin.
No staged apology can erase complicity in aggression.
