Today I encountered a scam attempt during an ITL transaction.

The deal was straightforward. The buyer agreed to send USDT first before receiving $ITL. At first glance, everything appeared normal. However, after verifying the transaction, I discovered that the USDT I received was actually a fake token, not the official USDT.

This scam has existed for years, but it still catches people off guard. A single moment of carelessness can result in losing your assets.

🔍 My advice:

Never rush to release your assets immediately after receiving USDT.

Always verify the transaction hash (TXID) and the smart contract address to ensure the token is the official USDT, not a fake one.

Scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated, so always double-check every transaction before completing the trade.

Spending a few minutes verifying a transaction can save you from losing everything.
