Here’s how Christian “Chameleon” Bale can make you a pro writer: -------------------------------------- Eating books for dinner -------------------------------------- Name one person who could play Patrick Bateman better than C. Bale. I’ll wait. You can’t, I know that. But do you know what made him so good in this role? RESEARCH, baby. He had a book by his side everywhere: • On set • In church • At dinner with his mama At one point, the book became his Bible. He made regular trips to Wall Street. He wanted to feel sweat, blood, tears & pressure in the air. His character was described as muscular Chad, and so Christian shifted into that. We are talking 3% of body fat here, not 3 months in the gym. Can you see the framework already? Christian doesn’t “play” his character - HE BECOMES THE CHARACTER. Patrick Bateman was him. He talked, looked, and thought like him. The same goes for you. It’s YOUR story, and you are the HERO. So tell it like you PLAY the part, because you do. I explained why Bale is a CHAD.
