@UnSportsESPN Chris, the south side is closer to Hammond than Solder Field. If you add in traffic it’s even worse. Only ones who have to travel further are those on the north side.
@UnSportsESPN I’m listening now. It’s literally a 15-20 minute drive from downtown Chicago. You can see the skyline from the beach in Gary. I know yall are just making conversation, but at least know what yall are talking about.
@jameis1of1@Hoopss That LA scenario is actually very good, but I think Milwaukee has to ask for draft compensation, so San Antonio and OKC are the only ones I would personally want to deal with if I was Milwaukee.
@jameis1of1 That vaunted LOB while I’m not dissing them, wasn’t winning anything and didn’t even have a .500 record until he showed up. They are a Pete Carroll call of freezing his own kicker from him going to the title game his rookie year.
@jameis1of1 In short he’s a lock in my opinion. Only 4 QB’s in history have more pro bowls, he’s a championship QB, top 5 in both p-rating and td/int ratio. Top ten in 4th q comebacks and game winning drives. Top 25 regardless of position in average value and weighted value. Top 5 rushing QB
@jameis1of1 This friendly QB debate needs more nuance and more than the character limit. I want to make the case for his clear HOF candidacy. As far as the “character” and “cultural” issues with Russ, I’m looking at it from a different perspective that is nuanced in Black America
@jameis1of1 Russ left the field with a double digit lead on Brady before the LOB choked it away. No all time great defensive outfit would even put them in that position. I was going off the top of my head and he’s in the 15-20 range with those names I mentioned. I’ll concede Fran
@jameis1of1 Great question. I haven’t fleshed it out all the way, but at first thought, with his dual threat ability I would have him in the 15-20 range. So above him Warren Moon and Big Ben. Below him Matthew Stafford and Fran Tarkenton.
@jameis1of1 Jameis has the love of the general public finally in my opinion. He will definitely get a tv job when he is done. Has potential to be the Charles Barkley of the nfl studio show he is on.
@jameis1of1 Russ is past his prime but he doesn’t throw a lot of picks (giving context). I understand Jameis is your choice over Russ, but I respectfully disagree.
It could happen, but the arduous process would be extremely painful and sub Saharan Africa would have to be ready to redraw the borders established during the Berlin conference. Also, they would have to nationalize every natural resource and lose at least 40% of the men.
Pan-Africanism will never happen. Stop pointing to the EU as proof it could. The EU exists because the U.S. rebuilt Europe after WWII, guaranteed its security, and anchored its economies in a shared market. Africa has no equivalent external catalyst, or unified geopolitical will.
