@hartmaths Third time becomes an hour after-school catch up session - although most call it sparx detention! If they have completed top 2 hws to 100% during the session (or before), they can leave when finished.

@hartmaths Sparx Hw - first 2 missed Hw is teacher detention - how long is at the teachers discretion to deter repeated incidents and allow explanation of any issues. I normally only do 5 minutes to cause a disruption to their day. Logged on bromcom so parents have a record.

@adamboxer1 Maths teacher by trade, picked up a French class this year. I use call and response for first attempt at speaking so they don't feel so self-concious about how they are saying something!
I agree whiteboards are better 99% of the time - but I enjoy call and response too!

@MrDCowling @mathsjem @StudyMaths @hkettlemaths Ocr has many more marks - 300 vs 240 for any other board. As such, scatter graphs have more available marks.
Best advice I've had, was to work from gcsemathsbyquestions as you could see exactly the type of questions in each exam board.
