The grade 4 team at Ginter Park did an awesome job of tracking SOL 4. 4c division through Richmond Math! By looking at all of the lessons as a unit we could clearly see the connections among the Concrete, Representation and Abtract. Go Team 4!!!
You know it's a great math day when a teacher PD turns into Teacher and Student PD. It was powerful to see and hear the students' thinking while we intenalized the lesson and practiced the strategies.
Grade 4 students at Ginter Park are using representation strategies from Richmond Math to solve 2-digit by one digit multiplication problems. This strategy makes learning accessible to all students.
